The Rachael Ray Show was sued this week by a former guest.
A previous contestant, Christina Pagliarolo who took part in a segment that shed light on overweight teens his suing the nominated talk show host -- citing that that show left her hurt and humiliated. The plaintiff also feels the show was negligent and intentional inflicted emotional distress.
In her lawsuit against "Rachael Ray," Pagliarolo claims the trainer made her run and hike mountains, and yelled and screamed at her, according to TMZ. The plaintiff also spoke on a time when she was on the StairMaster and her trainer kept upping the speed and then yelled at her when she fell. She claims these training sessions left her with leg injuries alongside the emotionally distress.
A representative came to the defense of Rachael Ray and the show and told TMZ, "We haven't received this purported lawsuit but if it does materialize we will defend ourselves against it vigorously and fully expect to prevail."
The show has dealt with legal issues before and theres no telling how this saga will end. The show has won two Daytime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Talk Show.
