We all know some of the hottest collabs in history have been between DJs and RnB artists (Rihanna and Calvin Harris, Usher and David Guetta), but now it appears that the newest collaborations shall include DJs with fashion designers. Couture meets dope cuts is music to our ears.
Earlier this summer, we heard a rumor that Ralph Lauren – the man who designed those ultra fly Opening Ceremony uniforms for the Olympics – would star Grammy nominated DJ Avicii in his Fall 2012 campaign for the Denim & Supply line, but today those rumors have finally been confirmed.
Fans of EDM and fashion can now head over to the Denim & Supply website and watch the new campaign video, which features Avicii and his new music as he models the latest pieces from the collection. One can also select the men’s and women’s pieces straight from the video, as well as get a free download of the exclusive remix “Silhouettes” for a limited time.
For the first time, high fashion and EDM have merged, and we hope it will be the first of many. Maybe Karl Lagerfeld and Skrillex should get together sometime?
