Raven-Symoné Lands Starring Role in 'Sister Act' on Broadway

Raven-Symoné will be back on stage soon as the star of Sister Act on Broadway. Deadline reports that the actress-sing
Raven-Symoné is replacing Patina Miller as Deloris Van Cartier. Raven-Symoné will begin rehearsals at the end of February and hits the stage at the end of March for a minimum 6-month engagement.
This news comes two decades after Raven-Symoné made her Broadway debut at the age of 5, singing with the Boys Choir of Harlem.
Whoopi Goldberg, who played Deloris in the film and its sequel, produces the Broadway adaptation, which opened in April 2011.
