According to several reports today, British singer Amy Winehouse has died at age 27.
Several London newspapers, including Sky News, Sunday Mirror and Daily Mail are confirming that the singer was found dead in her apartment in Camden Square in North London.
Reports first surfaced from Sky News, whose sources say police are treating the death as "unexplained."
According to Reuters, a Winehouse spokesman has yet to confirm her death.
Winehouse released two albums, Frank (2003) and Back to Black (2006), and has struggled with alcohol and drugs, famously detailing her rehabilitation attempts on her hit single, “Rehab.”
The singer had been on performance hiatus and reportedly seeking rehab.
