If you strip the scripture-quoting gospel, Mary Mary’s “Something Bigger” could serve as Fergie’s fist-pumping theme music. But stop dancing and you’ll discover the buoyant sisters’ plight as God-fearing good girls (check the pariah anthem “Sitting With Me”). Continuing to blend saved and secular tunes, Mary Mary’s uplifting sixth LP deserves praise. —Hillary Crosley
