Rewind! 5 Songs That Should Be In Your iTunes Right Now

VIBE rounds up five hip-hop songs from last week that should be on your itunes playlistSowmya Krishnamurthy

Drake feat. James Fauntleroy “Girls Love Beyonce”
It was Drake’s week in music as the rapper/singer released two new and unexpected tracks. Drizzy samples Destiny’s Child’s girl power classic “Say My
Name” and gives it a male spin with his “Girls Love Beyonce” featuring the uber talented James Fauntleroy. Although he’s rich, handsome and famous, poor
Drake is still all alone and feels like his “love life is over.” Awww. We just want to listen to this song on repeat and cuddle with him.

DJ Khaled feat. Drake, Rick Ross and Lil Wayne “No New Friends” (Started From the Bottom remix)
“Girls Love Beyonce” may ooze with emo, but “No New Friends” is anything but. The DJ Khaled song (Okay, it’s really a Drake song with Khaled’s name on it) features Weezy and Ross and serves as the “Started From the Bottom” remix. Want to be Drake’s friend? Too bad, he doesn’t need any.

Rockie Fresh feat. Rick Ross and Lunice “Panera Bread”
A new song from Maybach Music Group’s newest signee, Chicago’s Rockie Fresh. The title of the song makes no sense (aside from making us very, very hungry), but the beat is sick. Peep this and more from Rockie’s The Birthday
Tape mixtape.

J. Cole “Maine on Fire”
We love J. Cole as a good rapper, but don’t sleep on his production skills. Jermaine helms the boards on “Maine on Fire,” a standout gem from Hot 97 DJ Funkmaster Flex’s new mixtape Who You Mad At? Me Or Yourself? We’re definitely not mad at Cole for this one.

Daft Punk feat. Pharrell and Nile Rodgers “Get Lucky”
After so many bootleg versions and commercial rips, the official Daft Punk feat. Pharrell and Nile Rodgers “Get Lucky” is finally out this week. Take a travel back through time with this funky groove. Pharrell recently performed the song three times at the House of Vans in Brooklyn and if the crowd was any indication, this may very well be the song of the summer.
