It seems Rich Homie Quan may be looking to make his kinship with Birdman more official.
In a recent interview with XXL, the Atlanta rapper shared that his upcoming debut album is underway and that he is looking to drop it at the end of the year. And while he remains independent now, he gave a positive response when probed about if signing to Cash Money Records was a possibility.
“Yes. Cash Money was on of my idols coming up[…] And if it doesn’t, it doesn’t. I haven’t signed a deal at the moment. I’m still independent as we speak,” he said. “Other than that, man, like I always say I’m trying to make the movement bigger than life. And if it works out with Cash Money it works out, but if it doesn’t, Birdman will be my uncle for life.”
RHC also talked his clothing line colaboration with Jeezy, as well as his hopes to one day collaborate with Lil’ Wayne. He is currently on the Under The Influence tour alongside Wiz Khalifa. Watch the full interview here.
