After slipping in a controversial Molly reference into his verse on Rocko’s “U.O.E.N.O.,” rapper Rick Ross calls his multi-million dollar deal loss with Reebok “a learning situation.”

“I’m in a position where if I never sold another shoe, Rozay good,” Ross told MTV News. “So it’s really about what the little homeys who coming up next gonna take away from it.”

By little homeys, Rozay means his artists on the Maybach Music Group roster, who are no strangers to corporate ties. DC spitter Wale has worked with Adidas and Skullcandy headphones while Meek Mill and Rockie Fresh have partnered with Puma.

After receiving backlash from women’s rights group who claimed the lyric promoted date rape, the “Oil Money Gang” rapper tweeted an apology but was still dropped by the sneaker company. “Reebok holds our partners to a high standard, and we expect them to live up to the values of our brand,” Reebok told TMZ. “Unfortunately, Rick Ross has failed to do so.”

Still, it seems the Bawse isn’t crying over his losses and assures all is well. “We’ll readdress the situation once the time is right,” Ross said. “As far as myself and Reebok, we got a healthy situation.”
