Rick Ross and Jay Z tagteamed the Internet when they dropped their chokeslam of a record "The Devil is a Lie," proving once again that they are a solid duo on wax.
But as Hov traverses the globe, making more stacks off his controversial Barneys collaboration and his worldwide tour in support of his 2013 release Magna Carta Holy Grail, Rozay has been churning out lackluster remixes and trying to perfect his forthcoming LP Mastermind.
Before Rozay's album floods the streets sometime in 2014, the viral Bawse decided to drop a visual series called the Mastermind Sessions.
In Vol. 1, Rawse not only allows MMG rookies Fat Trel and Tracy T to dish out updates on their next projects (spoiler alert: something's coming in January), but talks about his recent record with Shawn Carter.
"It's another one of them records ... it's for the streets," he says. "It's the flows, it's the bounce. It's how current and relevant the music is and that's what's important when you're scoping entire bodies of work." Stream part one of the Mastermind's e-sessions above.
