Rick Springfield Arrested For Missing Court

Bad news for the guy who wishes he had "Jessie's Girl." Rick Springfield was arrested Friday (March 8) on a bench warrant, after missing a court date stemming from a DUI charge in 2011.

TMZ says the warrant that got Rick Springfield arrested is from a May 2011 DUI charge, in which the singer was pulled over in Malibu and officers smelled alcohol. After missing a February court date, a judge issued a bench warrant Wednesday, and police arrested Springfield on Friday.

Springfield posted to his official Facebook account soon after, writing this message:

"My home away from home. Lost hills sheriff station. Arrested this am on a bench warrant. I didn't know that I was supposed appear in court a few weeks ago. It was to do with the old DUI charge and it's been cleared up and i am free to go. Thought I might miss the gig tonite but I will be there and we will celebrate together.
Life is not boring.
