Ice Cube and Kevin Hart have begun to ramp up their press for their collaborative film, Ride Along, with a nice looking cover shot and interview in JET Magazine.
The established actor and upcoming celebrated comedian sat down with JET Magazine to discuss making the film, mixing business and entertainment, and building their respective legacies in Tinsel Town.
"From 48 Hours to Lethal Weapon to Bad Boys, I wanted Ride Along to have the same kind of feel as those movies," Cube said, responding to what moviegoers can expect from the film. "I took a gamble when I quit my job, which meant putting my all into stand-up comedy," said Hart, who has established himself as a bankable leading man.

Hart has shown how serious he is about honing his craft by detailing to JET the sacrifices he made during his climb to the top of the box office charts. "When you don't have a backup plan, you work as hard as you can because you know there cannot be a negative outcome, only positivity. When you let go of other things, you help yourself to evolve into great things."
The film, which also stars Tika Sumpter and John Leguizamo, hits movie theaters on January 17. Interested readers can read the full article online or wait until the issue hits newsstands on January 27.
