Rihanna Cancels Boston 'Diamonds Tour' Concert, Tweets Apology

One show into her Diamonds World Tour and Rihanna is already canceling the second stop. Fans in the Boston area will not get to see the "We Found Love" singer perform this evening, as scheduled for Beantown's TB Garden as she's been stricken with laryngitis.

"Unfortunately, following her sold out concert on Friday, Rihanna has contracted laryngitis and per doctor's instruction is unable to perform this evening,” read a statement from LiveNation.

Rihanna took to Twitter to express her sadness over the cancelation.

Boston ticketholders are instructed to retain their tickets for a rescheduled concert date in the future. The next show is scheduled for Baltimore, MD on Tuesday, March 12 and is expected to go on as planned. Fingers crossed.
