Director Robert Townsend (Five Heartbeats) has entered the webseries storytelling format with a gripping new drama, Diary of a Single Mom. The show stars Monica Calhoun, Leon, Billy Dee Williams and Richard Roundtree, and tells the story of a single mother of two (Calhoun) attempting to get her GED and reinvent her life for herself and children.
The webseries’ third season kicked off this week on PIC.tv, but check out the Season One’s series debut episode below. Each episode is only 12 minutes long and they’re entertainingly addictive.
