To all of our disappointment, Robin Thicke and Paula Patton recently announced their separation after nine years of marriage. Regardless of the drama in his personal life, Thicke is reassuring fans that he still plans to continue his North American tour despite the cancellations of his first three shows.
"I want to thank everyone for the well wishes these last few days. My fans mean everything to me," Thicke announced to fans in a statement on his website. "I'm looking forward to getting back on out on the road and performing in Washington DC this Thursday, and the rest of the tour. Looking forward to seeing everyone out there!"
The "Blurred Lines" singer still plans on hitting the stage this Thursday at George Mason University’s Patriot Center, despite reportedly losing his voice, which caused the show cancellations and tour postponement, which occurred nearly a day after news of separation broke.
Though "unforeseen circumstances" were cited in the split, Thicke reportedly won't give up easy on his wife.
Sources told TMZ that Thicke is determined to win Patton back and save their marriage. He reportedly plans on convincing Paula that he can change and be the good husband she wants him to be. Hopefully focusing on his tour and career will do the trick.
