Rohan Marley Calls Wyclef's Claim About Lauryn Hill "Bullsh*t"

Rohan Marley is calling out Wyclef Jean for allegedly writing false statements about Lauryn Hill in his new book. Rohan says Wyclef's claim that Lauryn lied about their baby being his is “bullshit and a money-making ploy.”

In his new autobiography, Purpose: An Immigrant's Story, Wyclef reveals that Ms. Hill, led him to believe he fathered her first child, Zion David.

Zion’s actual father, Rohan Marley, told TMZ that Wyclef: “knew from jump that was my son from the day [Lauryn] was pregnant”.

Rohan Marley, who dated Lauryn Hill from ’96 to ’04, was aware that Lauryn and Wyclef had a romantic relationship before he came into the picture. Apparently, Wyclef actually played matchmaker, hooking Rohan and Lauryn up.

He also claims he was with Lauryn in studio session all the time so they wouldn’t have time to have that alleged affair and Wyclef is "just saying false things to get book headlines" and isn’t going to talk to Wyclef about it because "he knows he is fronting himself.”

Wyclef responded to TMZ with “There is no way that I would have shown up in the hospital in that circumstance to wait for a baby to be born if it was not mine. The idea of a memoir is to tell the truth. I know that often the truth hurts, but a lie hurts even more."
