MJ. The greatest of all time. #fact
— Justin Bieber (@justinbieber) August 17, 2013
Hours after Justin Bieber tweeted out his admiration for the late King of Pop, a song titled "Slave to the Rhythm" surfaced online with both their names attached to it. The track, which has not been confirmed by either camp (yet), was recorded right before MJ's untimely death on June 25, 2009. Bieber added his vocals to the track later on.
Produced by Tricky Stewart, "Slave to the Rhythm" surfaced a year ago without the Bieber vocals. The new Bieber version has more of a dance music feel to it, and the young crooner does a good job impersonating MJ's singing style.
"Excited for what is to come," Bieber told his fans. "MJ set the bar. Not only for music but for being an entertainer and how u treat the fans. Wish he was here..."
