RZA is making good on that knowledge of the Shaolin in a big screen way.

The Wu Tang Clan producer will serve as director, star and has co-written the feature film, Man With The Iron Fist. The Universal movie which is currently being filmed in China, is produced by Quentin Tarantino and boasts a 20 million dollar budget also co-stars Russell Crowe and Lucy Liu. The premise? RZA plays blacksmith who makes weapons for residents of a Chinese village who are forced to defend themselves. Sounds just as riveting as a WuTang track. Speaking of which, RZA also has the beats covered too; he’s producing the soundtrack. Man With The Iron Fist is due in theaters later this year.
