San Antonio Spur Ends Up At Miami Heat After Party

It was all good about a week ago when the San Antonio Spurs seemed invincible during Game 5 of the NBA Finals. But once the Miami Heat took to the paint Thursday (June 20) for Game 7, there was no defying King LeBron James and his team.

Still, one of the Spurs’ standout players Danny Green did not take defeat like a chump and decided that a night out on the town would cure his no-chip blues. But as fate would have it, he ended up at the spot of the opposing team’s after party celebration.

“Last night was mad real!,” player Deon Thompson tweeted along with a picture of him and the Spurs guard live from Story nightclub, where MIA residents were popping bottles to the sound of victory alongside the home team. Drake, who was denied access to the Heat’s locker room post-game, was also spotted in VIP with Bron Bron and Dwayne Wade.

But there were no Chris Brownian battles fought at the venue, especially since Green and James’ friendship stem back to his rookie season in 2009-10 when he and King James were Cleveland Cavaliers. The two have even been documented treating the hardwood like a dance floor during timeouts.

Still, from the looks of that bro hug above, neither party had any worries.
