SFX Buys Club Liv to Build EDM Empire
Robert F.X. Sillerman has cracked into his EDM piggy bank once again this week to purchase of uber popular nightclub Liv in Miami.
The former Live Nation main cheese bought Beatport for $50 million recently to "build a $1 billion empire centered on the electronic dance music craze."
Sillerman's quest to be the king of EDM doesn't stop there. The Huffington Post reports, "SFX has also acquired several other EDM assets in recent weeks, including New Orleans-based EDM promoter Donnie Disco Presents and Life in Color, which puts on day-glow-paint-soaked EDM concerts across the U.S. Last week, the New York Times reported.
