Shaggy's Not Dead: Internet Death Rumor Is A Hoax

Mr. Bombastic Shaggy is the latest celeb victim to R.I.P. on the 'net. But Shaggy's not dead: don't worry.

The fake death report hit the web after the reggae pop star was allegedly stabbed in a bar fight in Los Angeles. Even his Wikipedia page was updated with the deceased info. This isn't the first of many times Shaggy has suffered from an online death.

"[Shaggy] is like a cat with 9 lives," a rep for Shaggy tells TMZ, "but I can happily report that he’s alive and kicking and in the same building as me right now as we speak."

Thankfully, it wasn't him. Shaggy's not dead, in case you were wondering.
