Sir Michael Rocks Talks Chicago Violence

Sir Michael Rocks Talks Chicago Violence

VIBE Posted February 6, 2013

Chi-town wordsmith Sir Michael Rocks is on the come-up but still holds his city down. While Chicago continues to chart musically, the increasing crime rate has penetrated the hip-hop culture, especially with the murder of rapper Lil Jojo and Chief Keef's alleged gang affiliations.

"I done seen Chicago change over many years," says the "Banco Popular" rapper. "It's gone from big gang violence to little cliques that's got beef with each other and shooting at each other and somebody innocent gets caught in the crossfire."

Watch the former Cool Kids MC break down the issues that hit close to home above.
