The Situation Sued For $1.6 Milli After Dumping Managers
Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino’s ex managers just filed a $1 million lawsuit against him. Gotham NYC Entertainment filed the suit today … claiming the Situation wrongfully dumped them after they took him from “relative obscurity” to stardom, according to TMZ.
The Situation, who dumped sad managers in May, sited lack of performance as the reason he fired them but according to the lawsuit he was contractually required to give Gotham 30 days notice and a chance to correct any issues. Howevr, Gotham claims it never got that opportunity, which means that Sorrentino is in breach of his contract.
In the suit, Gotham states it has managed Situation since the 2009 premiere of Jersey Shore and transformed him into an international celebrity. They are suing for damages in excess of $1 million.
