Hopefully, you were able to catch Skrillex at Ultra Music Festival this year because the talented young producer/DJ just canceled five upcoming tour dates.
Skrillex blamed the cancellation Full Flex Express Tour on a number of setbacks including cost. "It is with huge disappointment that we have to announce the Full Flex Express will not be happening in 2013," he wrote on the tour's website. "We explored every option to make the Full Flex Express happen but ultimately we could not get around these setbacks."
The five-city tour planned to roll through Canada on an express train with Santigold, Nas, Dillon Francis and some of the largest names in the EDM genre. The Grammy-winning artist explained to fans that the tour would continue in 2014 and hopefully years later. "The train is near and dear to my heart, and we have every intention of bringing it back in a massive way in 2014 (and for many years after), so please understand that we do this for you and this is just an unfortunate convergence of circumstances."
Refunds will be issued to those who have already purchased their ticket.
