It would be a cold, cold heart that wouldn’t have some love for Pixar animated classics like Toy Story and Finding Nemo. That said, it would be the epitome of coolness to have yourself recreated in one of their films – at least the EDM supreme feel this way (face it, you do it too).

During the Comic Con convention in July, it was revealed that Skrillex would be contributing to the soundtrack of Pixar’s upcoming new film Wreck It Ralph.

Turns out, this partnership with the dubstep demon will be going a step further; Skrillex himself (or a CGI rendition, at least), will provide the beats for a party scene that takes in the film.

Total Film spoke to Disney producer Clark Spencer this week, where he spilled that Skirlly (born Sonny Moore) is joining the animated cast of the new movie.

“We asked him if we could do it,” Spencer told Total Film. “We went to him first and said, ‘Hey, we have this party scene in the world of Fix It Felix Jr, and we have a DJ and we think it would make a nice cameo if we put you into it.’ And he was ecstatic.

“We built his model, we put on his look, and we sent it to him to have him give us comments. And he said he would never wear non-black tennis shoes. He said ‘My tennis shoes will always be black.’ So we changed the tennis shoes to black.

“You don’t see them in the film, as he’s behind the DJ booth, but they were in the model. He has seen the animation, and he’s very, very excited about it.”
