Snooki & Newt Gingrich Get Acquainted on 'The Tonight Show With Jay Leno'

Snooki is known for having a lot of "besties," and it's looking like the Jersey Shore star may have found another—author and former Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich.

While on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno to promote her new book Gorilla Beach, Snooks was joined by Newt, where the two had a playful chat about their respective projects. While Newt admitted that he's never saw an episode of Jersey Shore, he did congratulate her on nabbing two New York Times Best Sellers.

After the interview, Newt reportedly gifted Snooki & Jionni with a stuffed elephant for the new baby. Next up: Snooki teaches ol' Newt how to fist pump.
