Snoop Dogg Attempts to Set Guinness World Record For Most Retweets

[AllHipHop News] Rapper Snoop Dogg will attempt to enter into the Guinness Book of World Records by gaining the most re-tweets, after reaching 4 million followers.

Snoop Dogg will attempt to break an unofficial record that was set by Reverend Run in early 2010, after his daily Words of Wisdom came to prominence.

Starting tomorrow (August 23rd), Snoop Dogg will send out his message for fans to re-tweet between 12:00 AM that morning an12:00 AM the following Wednesday.

"Hitting four million Twizzles is a big moment for me and I want to thank all my fans for their continued support,” Snoop Dogg told AllHipHop.com in a statement today (August 24th). “I want to show the world how powerful and influential social media and my fans are, which is why I am attempting to set the world record for the most ‘retweets’ on Twitter.

Snoop will promote the campaign on a variety of popular social networks including Twitter, Ustream and Facebook, in conjunction with his weekly #PuffPuffPassTuesdays series.
