Snoop Dogg Praises Serena Williams C-Walk on Twitter

While Serena Williams has received some criticism towards her celebration crip walk at the Olympics, one California native in particular, has decide to side with the tennis pro.

Snoop Dogg took to Twitter shortly after Williams’ win over Maria Sharapova to praise her dance, tweeting a picture of Mickey and Minnie Mouse holding hands on a dirt road.

Earlier in the week at the post-game press conference, Williams sheepishly addressed the dance, simply saying it’s something they do in her home state.

“Actually, there is a name. But I don’t know if . . . it’s inappropriate,” she said. “It’s just a dance we do in California.”
