Hit songwriter Lonny Bereal takes the route of Neyo and Sean Garrett in his journey to furthering his music career. The songwriter-turned-artist has written chart-topping songs for Chris Brown ("I Can Transform Ya"), Tank ("Please Don't Go") and Pleasure P ("Under") as well as Keri Hilson, Keyshia Cole and Jamie Foxx. Now, he's working on his own music.
Bereal recently got together with Kelly Rowland to create a duet called "Favor," a sexy single marking his debut as a a singer. The song was originally co-written by Bereal for Chris Brown.
But Bereal isn't new to the singing game. He's performed background vocals with Ruben Studdard, Kelly Rowland, K-Ci & Jo Jo, Teddy Riley, Brandy and Monica.
What's next for the upcoming artist?
Bereal will release his debut album under Notifi Records, an independent label based in St. Louis, later this year. The album will include his duet with Kelly Rowland and features by Busta Rhymes, Trey Songz, Tank and Chris Brown. It will be executive produced by Troy Taylor who is also the executive producer of Trey Songz's albums.
