South Carolina Starbucks Plans To Open in Funeral Home

South Carolina Starbucks Plans To Open in Funeral Home

Keenan Higgins Posted July 12, 2012

If you live in South Carolina, you may be able to sooth your recent loss with a Venti Chai Tea Latte.

According to The Inquisitr, Robinson’s Funeral Home—based in Easley, South Carolina—will soon have a Starbucks outlet attached to its facility that will be open to the public and to mourners. The Starbucks location, which will be in a separate wing of the funeral home called the “Coffee Corner,” is expected to open next month.

Owner Chris Robinson says of the new development, “There’s nothing like food or coffee to help comfort those who’ve experienced a loss.”

Do you think a Starbucks at a funeral home benefits those looking to calm their nerves after a loss, or is it profiting off the grieving? Give us your thoughts.
