SpongeBob Voice Actor Gives "Elmo" Advice Amidst Sex Scandal

Amongst his recent sex scandal, Kevin Clash—famous for being the voice of Sesame Street's Elmo—is getting some advice from another fan-favorite, the voice of SpongeBob SquarePants.

Voice actor Tom Kenny told TMZ that he agreed with the head executives at Sesame Street who urged Clash to resign. "Obviously, [Sesame Street] thought he should resign," Kenny said. "If they think you should resign, it's out of your hands." Kenny also iterated that he had never met Clash because they "run in different circles," as SpongeBob is an animated series that runs on Nickelodeon, while Clash's work with Elmo and Sesame Street dealt with puppets on PBS.

If only he could've said it in Spongebob voice.
