While the Lambs await Mariah Carey's forthcoming album, she's doing very little to keep the anticipation at bay. The songbird has been teasing fans with visuals straight from the booth, her most recent being a snapshot with Jermaine Dupri and Nas.
It stokes the fire for a possible reunion on wax for the two (their prior collaboration was on the 2000 remix of "Thank God I Found You" also featuring Joe) for MC's yet-to-be-released The Art of Letting Go, which was scheduled for release this past July. Carey, who also attended Nas' 40th birthday celebration in New York City, has also been spotted working with other heavyweights like Mike Will Made It, Hit-Boy, Wale, Rodney Jerkins, The-Dream and Young Jeezy.
“While making this album, I got so immersed in the creative process that I just don’t feel it would be doing it justice to release it on 7/23,” Carey wrote on Twitter in June. “I’d rather not exclude meaningful songs. I want to give you this album as it’s meant to be heard. When I’m ready, you’ll be the first 2 know.”
