Sports fans filled with 90’s nostalgia will soon be able to purchase those classic satin Starter jackets.

While the jackets’ origin dates back to the 80’s, the brand reached its highest point of popularity during the 90’s. Recently, G-III Apparel Group and Major League Baseball Properties (MLBP) announced that they would revive the retro Starter satin jacket franchise, featuring logos for all 30 MLB teams. The iconic jackets will be marketed and advertised by NY Giants legend and President of G-III Sports, Carl Banks.

“Baseball and Starter go hand-in-hand, it’s the ultimate expression of team pride,” says Banks. “Although the satin jacket hasn’t been produced for over a decade, it’s still worn at ballparks across the country to this day. We look forward to reintroducing the iconic Starter satin jacket for baseball fans of all
generations.

The Starter satin jacket is set to debut during the Fall back-to-school season, and will be available via the brand’s online store for $150.
