Even though everyone was waiting for the claws to come out during the digital debacle between Adrienne Bailon and Kim Kardashian—and Khloe, Julissa, Kourtney, Blac Chyna (?) and whoever else chose to comment—Ms. Bailon is filing her nails down instead of sharpening them.
Yesterday, Adrienne set the internets a-flutter by speaking out on her old flame, Rob Kardashian, and how her affiliation to that family name almost tainted her career. Mrs. West didn't take too kindly to her slander and shaded the former 3LW singer on Twitter. "Funny how she says being with a Kardashian hurt her career yet the only reason she has this article is bc she is talking about a Kardashian," Kim tweeted.
The sideline chatter has been at an all time high, but Adrienne has chosen to respond gracefully in a well thought-out Instagram message breaking down the difference between fame and a career.
"I’ve always had a career," she wrote. "I have been working hard since I was 15 years old. Being someone’s “girlfriend” was never what I wanted to be famous for. What make you “famous” isn’t what you want to be “labeled” as, or known for. If anyone should understand….It should be you." Tell 'em.
