Stream: Dim Mak’s Clinton VanSciver ‘Indie Anna Jones’ Full EP

/ June 11, 2013

Dim Mak recruits Clinton VanSciver to drop ‘Indie Anna Jones’ EP, a four-track dirty-pop-synth hybrid, packing danceable yet razor sharp grooves. The first edit features upbeat vocals a la Queen B and leans electro house, a feel-good clubbing anthem. VanSciver proceeds to flex his arrangement muscles with a progressive, glitch hop and even a dubstep version of the tune. Label boss Steve Aoki says he’s, “happy we have signed Clinton VanSciver onto the Dim Mak roster. He has a great forward thinking sound and that’s something we strive to support in artists like him.” Listen to to the don of Dim Mak, and stream the full ‘Indie Anna Jones’ EP…

“The Indie Anna Jones EP is an amalgamation of everything squeaky-clean and smart about retro pop music with a modern-day grit. It’s the music I’ve wanted to create since I was young; Sleek and precise, yet infectiously obtuse. It’s what comes to mind when I think of “dirty pop.”” – Clinton VanSciver
