Gucci Mane is not your ordinary gangsta. While still holed up in the pen for violating his parole, Guwop manages to unleash some new music with the help of fellow Atlanta rapper Rich Homie Quan. Trust God Fuck 12, Gucci's middle finger to the cops from prison, is the first joint effort from the two ATL spitters with Quan rapping on all but six of the 17 tracks. The two wrangle a bunch of their Atlanta homies for cameos on the project, including Young Scooter, Migos, Big Bank Black, PeeWee Longway and Young Thug. Lex Luger, Zaytoven, DJ Spin, Metro Boomin, DJ Plugg, 808 Mafia help with production.
Gucci sounds a little bit more coherent on this project, than on 2012's I'm Up and some of his World War 3 tapes. Actually, better than he has in awhile. He raps about being a celebrity from Hollywood to Inglewood to Edgewood on the opener and keeps the acronyms PG-rated on #IJWHSF short for "I Just Wanna Have Some Fun." The effort isn't free. It'll cost you $8.99 on Amazon. Guwop got to play for those lawyers somehow.
