Authorities in Louisiana have identified the main suspect in the murder of rapper Lil Snupe. Convicted felon Tony Holden was said to have shot the up-and-coming artist as a result of a petty argument over a video game.
Holden, 36, reportedly shot the 18-year-old, real name Addarren Ross, in the chest twice and fled the scene. Police consider him to be armed and dangerous, according to AP.
Several heavy hitters in hip-hop acknowledged Snupe's talent since his death last week including MMG boss Rick Ross, who had offered the Dream Chasers signee a spot on Self Made 3. Meek Mill was quick to memorialize the slain rapper in a tribute video (below) backed by Snupe and Meek's track "Nobody" off his recent mixtape R.N.I.C (Real Nigga In Charge). —Anthony Centeno
