Swedish House Mafia Taking Over Evolution Radio Station on NYE

Swedish House Mafia Taking Over Evolution Radio Station on NYE

Charley Rogulewski Posted December 30, 2012

Swedish House Mafia will be calling it quits from touring in 2013, but the trio will still be ringing in the new year together. The DJs will takeover Evolution, iHeartRadio’s new EDM station between 10PM–12AM EST on New Year's Eve.

During their two-hours, Swedish House Mafia will play their tunes, chat and let loose an exclusive never-aired-before segment recorded live at their last UK show this July. The Swedes join Evolution's already DJ-packed NYE on-air lineup. The entire NYE broadcast runs from 8PM-4AM EST and will also include Calvin Harris, Pete Tong, Paul Van Dyk and Diplo.

Swedish House Mafia will play their final shows (for now) this March at the back-to-back weekend Ultra Music Festival in Miami. The trio is essentially going on hiatus while they are on top. Their track “Don’t You Worry Child” is currently in the Top Ten on the singles chart and is up for the Best Dance Recording Grammy.

To hear their NYE set on Evolution, head to iheartradio.com/evolution on Dec. 31.
