Swizz Beatz’s new gig as Global Ambassador for the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation starts tomorrow with a fundraising event at the Harlem Hospital Center. He’ll be recognized at the function along with the hospital staff. The producer turned-designer-turned-activist’s role will be to spread global awareness and raise funds for the organization. He’ll focus on connecting the arts with healing.

“[Swizz Beatz] is committed to using his creativity, his innovation, and his international stature to help spread the HHC message on a global scale to promote better health in our city and our world,” says Executive Director of the Fund for HHC Joe Schick.

Swizz Beatz continues to broaden his resume. In addition to his being one of hip-hop’s most sought-after producers, Swizzy is gearing up to release his long-awaited sophomore LP Haute Living. When not working on his music, he also moonlights as a creative director at Reebok, designing shoes.

Congratulations to Swizz!
