Talib Kweli Performs New Song at Occupy Wall Street

Posted October 7, 2011

Last night (Oct. 6), Brooklyn's own Talib Kweli headed down to Wall Street

to lend his support to all those in protest in Lower Manhattan's Financial District.

Thousands of protestors are currently hold up on Wall Street, fighting against corporate greed. An estimated 15,000-20,000 people, including big US unions and student organizations have come together to fight for the working class.

Kweli stood with the people and offered a live performance to help their spriits. With no mic or DJ, the MC spit a new song, "Distraction," before going into the Black Star classic, "Thieves In The Night."
