Tech N9ne Will Headline "Independent Powerhouse Tour 2013"

Posted December 21, 2012

Tech N9ne must not sleep, because after a record setting “Hostile Takeover” tour and then with back-to-back shows in Canada and Europe, Tech N9ne announced that he will headline the “Independent Powerhouse Tour 2013.” Joining him on stage will be his Strange Music labelmates: gold recording artist Brotha Lynch Hung, Krizz Kaliko, Kutt Calhoun and newcomers Rittz and Ces Cru. Tech N9ne is looking forward to the line-up, commenting, “I'm very excited to tour with the guys on the roster. I've always wanted to take Ces Cru out. I admire what Rittz does on stage and everybody's been asking about Lynch on every tour. It's also great to have Kutt Calhoun back on the road with us. I can't wait for the Independent Powerhouse Tour. I wish it started today and so does Krizz Kaliko!”

Performing won’t be the only thing keeping this group busy, each of these artists will release at least one project under Strange music during the Independent Powerhouse Tour 2013. Currently, Tech N9ne is finishing up his upcoming studio album, “Something Else,” with a projected release of May 2013.

If you still don’t catch the hard-hitting rapper on stage, he will also perform at the 2013 Paid Dues Festival in San Bernadino, CA on March 30. Sharing the spotlight with Tech is De La Soul, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Immortal Technique, Hopsin and festival headliners, Black Hippy, made up of Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, Ab-Soul and Strange Music recording artist, Jay Rock.
