Terrence Howard is no stranger to provocative roles, but a love scene with media mogul Oprah Winfrey is an undertaking he is proud of.
"To have the woman that holds her own comportment and stature at a higher place, she's created her own royalty," Howard told VIBETV of his intimacy with Oprah Winfrey for the 2013 film The Butler. "To have that woman desire you, to be able to penetrate through the formation of her protection and guard, to see her let go of Oprah just to become a woman, to be able to kiss and make out with her, that's a great little thing."
The Lee Daniels-directed flick centers on a White House butler who has served eight American presidents over three decades. The big-name cast includes Forest Whitaker, Alex Pettyfer, James Marsden, Vanessa Redgrave, John Cusack, Robin Williams, Alan Rickman and Liev Schreiber.
In October 2012, Hollywood's highest paid woman Instagrammed a photo of her holding a cigarette beside Howard to the shock of her 17 million followers. "And THAT's a Wrap! Terrance Howard and me in our goodbye'love scene'. Thanks Lee Daniels for the great experience. #theButler," the Next Chapter host wrote.
The Red Tails star also says the scene with O was unforgettable. "That's a benefit I'll never be able to let go of," Howard said before revealing, "My wife is ok with it now."
