‘Tis the season of giving but this Texas man didn’t plan to be this generous.
A Goodwill employee came across thirty-three $100 bills stuffed into a pair of shoes that was accidentally donated to the non-profit retail thrift store, according to Yahoo! News.
The discovered bounty was reportedly the life savings of a Galveston County, Texas couple, unbeknownst to the husband who made a more than charitable gift. Fortunately, the good hearts of a Goodwill employee found the money and set it aside for someone to claim within 7 days. The grateful wife was able to collect the cash.
This is a great dose of Samaritan cheer to kick off the holiday season.
