The three-woman rap group that originally recorded “Boss Ass Bitch” (before Nicki Minaj put lethal her stamp on it) will finally be able to get mainstream exposure on their own. Thanks to the viral remix, P.T.A.F. (short for Pretty and Taking All Fades) has landed a deal with Capitol Records.

According to The FADER, the ‘mix caught Capitol Music Group A&R Easean “E” Bolden’s attention, and he helped the girls sign a single deal with Capitol last month. The girl group first released “Boss Ass Bitch” 17 months ago, but Nicki Minaj posted her own remix on SoundCloud a month ago (Capitol has since had Nicki’s version snatched down in hopes of re-releasing the “collab” under P.T.A.F.’s name).

P.T.A.F. has been set up with an engineer and introduced to various producers, but there’s no telling if the new Capitol relationship will lead to an album release.
