Kanye West recently changed the name of his single "Theraflu" after controversy with the cold medicine company, however, Theraflu is saying they had no involvement in the name change.
When the song dropped, Theraflu initially issued a statement separating themselves from the song. “We in no way endorse or approve of the references or use of the image and likeness of Theraflu in this manner,” they wrote which prompted Yeezy to rename the song "Way Too Cold."
But Theraflu is now claiming that they did not force Kanye to change the song's title. TMZ reports that the company wrote in a statement "Novartis Consumer Health did not ask that the name be changed -- that request would be way too cold."
Regardless of the reasoning behind the new title, 'Ye also revealed the cover art for the track this past weekend. The cover, which is now banned, features a woman's uncovered breasts, matching the controversy of the song. --Jazmine Gray
