T.I. adopted a fresh outlook on his musical endeavors since he inked a deal with Columbia Records, and the newfound insight begins with crafting his ninth solo LP, and shelving Trouble Man II: He Who Wears the Crown.

“I still have that album, that album isn’t lost, I have that project as well,” the Atlanta-native said to MTV’s RapFix Live yesterday (Dec. 11). “But the music that we began to create– Pharrell, myself–so many others that have contributed between the time of then and now that the project is just taking a new shape,”

Switching gears to discuss his forthcoming LP, Tip described it as a “motion picture,” mainly highlighting the project’s title. “…it’s gonna be a theatrical-worthy title. Something that will definitely seem instant classic,” the 33-year-old said. “”I’m thinking something like Trap Champion, Paperwork, but whatever it is the subtitle will be The Motion Picture.”
