Toni Braxton in the Hospital Due to Lupus Complications

Toni Braxton was hospitalized on Friday (Dec. 7) with Lupus complications, a situation she battled earlier this year. Although we can assume she’s not feeling too fantastic, she tweeted a reassuring message to her fans.

“Hey guys, I’m in the hospital for health issues related to Lupus & Blood clots, I will be home soon,” she updated. “Thanks for all the love&support! Xoxo”

According to ABC News, a spokeswoman confirmed the hospitalization but gave no further details.

Earlier this year, the 45-year-old’s VH1 Behind The Music special detailed Braxton’s illness and her daily fight against the autoimmune disease.
