Toronto Shooting Leaves 2 Dead, 19 Injured

Toronto, Canada has been severely interrupted recently with a tragic shooting that took the lives of two people.

According to Yahoo! News, the shooting took place yesterday at a large Toronto outdoor party, which left two people dead and at least 19 others injured—including an infant.

Toronto Police Chief Bill Blair confirmed that the two killed Monday were a teenage girl and a man in his 20s, and said the child's injuries in the ordeal are "not life-threatening and the child will be fine."

"It is the most serious crime of its kind that has ever taken place in the city of Toronto," Blair said. He continued by saying, "The only information I have is that it was handguns involved in this. We don't have information at this point in time about the weapons that were used, although one weapon has been recovered at the scene."
