TRAILER: Alternate "Iron Man 3" Clips Shows Off More Tony Stark

Walt Disney Pictures Japan has released this new Japanese teaser trailer for "Iron Man 3," opening in theaters on May 3, 2013.

If you've been sleeping in a cryogenic chamber, you may not know that third installment of the popular franchise pis brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. Stark's personally crafted world is destroyed right in front of him by his enemy's hands, thrusting the ingenious inventor on a harrowing quest to find those responsible.

This project has been deemed darker in tone than the rest of the films, and at every turn, Tony's mettle will be tested. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. The ultimate question that has haunted him throughout the saga will finally reveal itself to Tony: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?

Starring Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Sir Ben Kingsley, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, James Badge Dale, Stephanie Szostak and Jon Favreau, "Iron Man 3" is directed by Shane Black ("Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang").
