With Gamescom currently going on in Cologne, Germany, some of the industry's elite are ecstatic to show off their upcoming projects.
One of those folks are Sony who were more than eager to show off the different ways you can control the lead female protagonist in Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed III: Liberation for the PS Vita. Their latest trailer is exclusive to the international gaming conference and reveals a little more about the PS Vita controls that gamers will be using to help Aveline de Grandpré navigate around the world and fight. There's one particular scene where she faces off against three guards before the PS Vita user taps on each for her to pull off a killing move on each.
Later, we see the rear touch-pad being used to help her row a canoe through some caverns.
You can also brief see Aveline use a whip as a weapon along with a blowgun and a cleaver. Her divastating tactics are so ferocious that you can even briefly see her wrestling an alligator. Don't blink or you will miss it! Liberation takes place during the same time period as Connor's adventure for the PS3, Xbox 360, PC and Wii U, yet it will not feature Desmond Miles. Word is that she will cross paths with Connor Kenway from the home console version in some form or fashion.
Assassin's Creed III: Liberation is due out for the PS Vita on October 30.
