Gamescom 2012 may be over, but FIFA '13 proved why it will win the futbol wars.
Soccer fans around the globe are excited that the biggest leagues in the world have begun play this past weekend. So, to engage the excitement that comes with the return of world class soccer, EA Sports let loose a first glimpse trailer of FIFA '13. Looking to capitalize on its "most popular sports video game in the world" status, FIFA '13 shows off some of the game-changing improvements over last year's rendition.
EA Sports' biggest emphasis was realism, and what you can see in the video alludes to some awesome changes:
Executive Producer David Rutter has designed an intriguing five-pronged attack to achieve their goal of another year of sports dominance (and beating Pro Evolution Soccer's latest attempt at dethroning them). FIFA '13's biggest upgrades include: Unpredictability, Attacking, Intelligence, Complete Dribbling, First Touch Control, Tactical Free Kicks and an updated Player Impact Engine.
